Up2date SMAC 2009

In the name of Allah,The Most Gracious The Most Beneficious,
Peace be upon the prophet Muhammad who shed the light of islam upon us.
For the SMAC recently,we have just won 2 silver and 1 bronze.

That is:

Badminton(Brothers) and Netball(Sisters)-Silver
Basketball(Sisters)-Bronze

I hope that our effort will get blessing from Allah for doing our best
to attain successfulness in this sport.If God wills.

p/s:Some said that our law student is very organised-that is from the shirt we wear :)

Manusia kini keliru dalam kemabukan yang maha dahsyat.Sungguh mata sudah kabur dengan halusinasi yang mengkhayalkan.Aku juga bingung pada kenyataan.Mereka gembira pada pendustaan.Langsung dihalalkan bermacam kehinaan atas tujuan penciptaan manusia di atas muka bumi ini.

إِنَّآ أَنزَلۡنَا ٱلتَّوۡرَٮٰةَ فِيہَا هُدً۬ى وَنُورٌ۬‌ۚ يَحۡكُمُ بِہَا ٱلنَّبِيُّونَ ٱلَّذِينَ أَسۡلَمُواْ لِلَّذِينَ هَادُواْ وَٱلرَّبَّـٰنِيُّونَ وَٱلۡأَحۡبَارُ بِمَا ٱسۡتُحۡفِظُواْ مِن كِتَـٰبِ ٱللَّهِ وَڪَانُواْ عَلَيۡهِ شُہَدَآءَ‌ۚ فَلَا تَخۡشَوُاْ ٱلنَّاسَ وَٱخۡشَوۡنِ وَلَا تَشۡتَرُواْ بِـَٔايَـٰتِى ثَمَنً۬ا قَلِيلاً۬‌ۚ وَمَن لَّمۡ يَحۡكُم بِمَآ أَنزَلَ ٱللَّهُ فَأُوْلَـٰٓٮِٕكَ هُمُ ٱلۡكَـٰفِرُونَ (٤٤)

"Sesungguhnya Kami telah menurunkan Kitab Taurat, yang mengandungi petunjuk dan cahaya yang menerangi; dengan Kitab itu Nabi-nabi yang menyerah diri (kepada Allah) menetapkan hukum bagi orang-orang Yahudi dan (dengannya juga) ulama mereka dan pendeta-pendetanya (menjalankan hukum Allah), sebab mereka diamanahkan memelihara dan menjalankan hukum-hukum dari Kitab Allah (Taurat) itu dan mereka pula adalah menjadi penjaga dan pengawasnya (dari sebarang perubahan). Oleh itu janganlah kamu takut kepada manusia tetapi hendaklah kamu takut kepadaKu (dengan menjaga diri dari melakukan maksiat dan patuh akan perintahKu) dan janganlah kamu menjual (membelakangkan) ayat-ayatKu dengan harga yang sedikit (kerana mendapat rasuah, pangkat dan lain-lain keuntungan dunia) dan sesiapa yang tidak menghukum dengan apa yang telah diturunkan oleh Allah (kerana mengingkarinya), maka mereka itulah orang-orang yang kafir.(Maidah:44)"







Nalar digalau perasaan yang sedang bertempur dengan hebat.Ah sudah!Suara-suara daripada elegi bingit yang muncul di tengah-tengah ideologi kemanusiaan menghambat pemikiran orang muda yang masih hijau ini.Nadinya berdegup kencang.Dup.Dap.Dup.Dap.Harus apa lagi yang perlu diperdebatkan?Seantero dunia mengetahui orang-orang perundangan ini petah berhujah,namun mencari satu matlamat yang jelas ibarat lampu-lampu chandelier yang menerangi rumah agam ketika keramaian diadakan.Dibongkarnya buku-buku perundangan demi mencari jawapan yang pastinya tersembunyi di celahan bahtera ilmu yang tersimpan di dunia ini.

Pemuisi Shakespeare mengungkapkan madah yang sungguh dalam maksudnya.Sedalam Lautan Antartika yang mempunyai khazanah rahasia tersembunyi.Hanya manusia yang ingin mengambil tahu dan ingin tahu untuk mengetahuinya,mampu menterjemahkan keajaibannya.

Pastinya peradaban manusia bertulangbelakangkan undang-undang.Namun mengapa kini undang-undang 'even the supreme law' tidak dapat menyelamatkan nilai-nilai moral manusia di zaman serba canggih ini?Sekian lama dipinda dan terus dipinda.Dipanjang-panjang untuk diperdebatkan.Dihurai-hurai hingga orang tua menjadi bisu dan orang muda menjadi tuli?Satu persoalan yang ingin disoalkan oleh yang bingung dengan soalan yang tidak bisa dijawab oleh orang yang disoal untuk soalan-soalan yang bakal mendatang.

Lots of preparation had been done in making this MeLex annual event to be a success.

Starting from Multimedia Presentation of course, food & drink, the setting, paper work, everything had to be perfectly done by all Syura Council.

Exclusive for approximately 105 law students, this event had been a great success with the cooperation of Moot Club. Assoc Prof Dr Syed Ahmad Shahibuddin Alsagoff, prof from our main campus, IIUM Gombak was invited to be our speaker.

~...Econs Festival -MeLex Booth-...~

Starting from 17-20 of August 09, Economics Society organized a festival at CFS IIUM Nilai field in conjunction with the Econs festival.

And so, we MeLex society also took this chance to open our own booth during this festival, 4 days respectively.

Thanx to our advisor, Madam Mardiyah, for supplying items and stuffs to be sold by us and eventually, we could get some profits from the selling.

Our sellings were:

Last Saturday, M.e.L.e.x Society was invited to join the aikol fest at the main campus IIUM, Gombak. About 22 syura council together with the sub-committes for each bureaus joined this festival.

There were only 2 activities held on that day..

• Legal Theater; TRUTH or DARE

..The events started at 9.30 a.m and finished at 12.00 p.m..
